Vikas Bhandari founded the architectural practice in 1975 and was formally christened as VEEKAS Studio in 2015. It is Vikas’s resolve to make the city a better place and he has been actively participating in various Development Plan Committees. Kalpak joined the practice in 1998. After practising for 11 years, he went on pursue his Master’s in Architecture ‘AVATAR – Advanced Virtual and Technological Architecture Research’ at the Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London.

The firm has designed projects across India, be it residential, commercial, institutional, hospitality, or recreational projects. They have received numerous awards, including the Builders Association of India Award and the AESA Award.

They have recently completed an 80,000 sq mt of mixed-use development along the banks of the Mula River in the upcoming locale of Pimple Nilakh, Pune. Besides this, they finished work on Veerayatan Vidyapeeth, Jakhania in Bhuj – a low rise campus development consisting of primary and secondary school, women’s vocational training facility, pharmacy college, residential hostels for boys and girls and staff housing.
